Presented lecture notes are offered to students of the Civil Engineering course of study in English language at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia. The study of the theory of structures starts with the subject Statics, followed by the Theory of Elasticity and the Structural Mechanics.
